HINTON, Iowa (KTIV) - Firefighters were sent to a home southwest of Hinton, Iowa, on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

The house fire was reported at around 11:30 a.m., with crews being sent to 25847 310th Street.

KTIV’s reporter at the scene could see heavy smoke coming from the home. The Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office, Le Mars Fire & Rescue and firefighters from Hinton were all responding to the fire.

No word yet on any injuries. Firefighters were still trying to put out the fire as of 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
