SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- Four students at King's Fork Middle School in Suffolk were injured Wednesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus and a cement truck, according to police.

The accident happened around 2:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Hillpoint Boulevard.

Police say the school bus was carrying students and four of them reported injuries due to the crash. Three of the four individuals were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The fourth individual was treated and released on-scene.

The driver of the cement truck was issued a summons.
