Park City Community Foundation and Recycle Utah have announced that they have launched community food waste bins at Recycle Utah’s facility as part of the Community Foundation’s Zero Food Waste initiative.

All are welcome to bring their food waste items to Recycle Utah during business hours to drop food scraps at no cost. All food waste items are accepted and will be picked up regularly by Momentum Recycling.

“Community bins are something we have been considering since we first launched the Zero Food Waste initiative,” said Andy Hecht, Park City Community Foundation’s climate fund manager. “It’s a great way to introduce folks to food waste collection, and we appreciate the partnership with Recycle Utah to offer this service to our community members.”
