The city of Boston employee arrested over the summer after a violent confrontation with a state trooper has been indicted, according to the Suffolk District Attorney's Office.

Nasiru Ibrahim was pulled over in South Boston by a state police trooper on July 30, but the encounter soon turned violent, according to dash- and body-cam video.

Ibrahim tried to drive away, causing the trooper to dive into the car and try to stop it from driving away. The trooper used his Taser on Ibrahim, and then Ibrahim used the Taser on the trooper, according to the trooper's report.

After Ibrahim surrendered and was arrested police said they found in his car a handgun modified with a device that turns it into a fully-automatic weapon.

He is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail on numerous gun charg
