KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Despite her convictions of child endangerment in the death of her daughter, a Kansas mother will avoid prison after a judge chose probation instead.
The Leavenworth County, Kansas, Attorney’s Office announced on Wednesday, Oct. 15, that Liberti N. Figueroa has been sentenced to prison.
Court records noted that Figueroa was initially charged with two counts of aggravated child endangerment and involuntary manslaughter for the death of her 1-year-old daughter.
