SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - High pressure will continue to control our weather for the next few days before storms return by the weekend.

Tonight will be another cool and comfortable night across the region with temperatures falling into the mid and upper 50s. After a clear evening, a few clouds will start to arrive as we approach Thursday morning.

For Thursday and Friday, we’ll see more of the same across the ArkLaTex. Other than a few passing clouds from time to time, we should continue to see plenty of sunshine each day and temperatures will continue to run well above average. Highs will climb into the low 90s with overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s.
