SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers is showing their appreciation for law enforcement on Wednesday, Oct. 15, with Burgers 4 the Badge!

This is the event’s fourth year. It will also serve as a farewell to the old Shreveport Police Department headquarters.

They usually respond to calls for help. But today the men and women in uniform responded to a call of thanks for the annual event.

“This is the fourth year for this event. And it’s just a great time for officers that can see their fellow officers not at a crime scene. So many times they only get to see each other at a bad situation, so this is just a time to take a deep breath and let everyone show their appreciation,” Terry McNaight explained.
