WASHINGTON — The proposed project to add express lanes on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and extend them into Prince George’s County, Md. has hit a major roadblock. The National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) voted Wednesday to not advance the proposal, a decision that essentially punts the complex issue to a later date, rather than striking it down permanently.
