The Illinois College men's swimming team secured a 114-88 win over Coe in their season-opening dual meet held Saturday at the Coe Natatorium in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This result extends the Blueboys’ dual meet winning streak to 11, continuing momentum from the previous season.

Illinois College achieved seven event victories during the meet. The team of Nathen Trachta, Lucas Sullens, Scottie Nicotra, and Eli Eberle won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:30.94.

In individual events, Cade Emerick took first place in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:26.15). Lucas Sullens claimed wins in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.30) and the 100-yard backstroke (57.38).
