Keith Urban has canceled an upcoming stop on his High and Alive World Tour

According to WYFF4, the singer is unable to perform his scheduled concert in Greenville, S.C. this Thursday (Oct. 16), due to a bout of laryngitis.

The show's venue, Bon Secour Wellness Arena, announced the cancellation on social media, explaining that Urban has been placed on complete vocal rest by his doctor.

The singer issued a statement to his fans via the venue.

"I'm so SO sorry to have to cancel the show," Urban wrote in that statement.

"I know all the logistics it takes to get to a concert these days, and I've never taken any of that, or any of YOU for granted," he continued. "I'm looking forward to getting back there when we can!!!!!"
