LUBBOCK, Texas--Gerardo Sanchez was sentenced to 240 months, approximately 20 years, in federal prison on Wednesday for distribution and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

EverythingLubbock.com reported in March 2025 that Gerardo Sanchez pleaded guilty after he was accused of selling illegal narcotics and firearms, according to court documents.

Court documents indicate that on November 14, 2024, he intentionally or knowingly distributed or possessed with the intent to distribute a mixture or substance containing fentanyl.
