SPOKANE, Wash. – Trevor Sparks, 25, was sentenced to 10 days in jail for assaulting the mother of his child. The Spokane District Court sentencing occurred on Wednesday after a three-day trial and a previous trial that ended in a hung jury.

Sparks also received an additional 45 days of electronic home monitoring and a year of probation.

According to court documents, Sparks and the victim were in a "dating relationship," shared a child and lived together. In December 2023, an argument escalated when Sparks reportedly threw the victim against a wall, causing her to strike her head and back.
