In the aftermath of Manchester United's pulsating draw with Liverpool in January, Reds skipper Bruno Fernandes aired his frustrations.

It wasn't so much with United's showing at Anfield, where they came from behind to lead 2-1 before being pegged back in an enthralling draw, it was more that Ruben Amorim's side had shown they were capable of going toe-to-toe with the best.

The 2-2 with Liverpool last season came a few weeks after United beat Manchester City at the Etihad while United also knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup at the Emirates last winter.
