Peter Schmeichel has claimed that Manchester United made the wrong decision by signing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig and, in turn, offloading Rasmus Hojlund to Napoli during the summer transfer window.

Sesko, 23, made the £66.26million plus £7.36m in add-ons switch to Old Trafford in August . After a difficult start to life at United, the Slovenia international has found the net in each of his last two appearances.

Meanwhile, Hojlund, 22, joined Napoli on a season-long loan deal back in September . Antonio Conte's side have an obligation to buy the forward should they qualify for the Champions League. Since his move to Naples, Hojlund has scored four times in his first six games, forming a dangerous partnership with Kevin De Bruyne in the process.
