HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Deaconess Henderson Hospital held its second annual Wave of Lights Ceremony Wednesday in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.

Families gathered in the hospital's garden lighting candles as part of the global remembrance event. The evening featured heartfelt tributes including a reading of baby names and words of comfort from hospital staff and chaplains.

The ceremony provided solidarity for those grieving the loss of a child.

Deaconess offers bereavement boxes to families so they can leave with keepsakes to honor their baby.
