OMAHA, Neb. —

Omaha police are asking for the public's help to identify a person caught on camera setting a U-Haul truck on fire. It happened in an industrial area near 84th and I streets late at night on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

The incident, captured on video, unfolded over a few minutes. The footage shows the suspect carrying what appears to be an accelerant.

He leaves the U-Haul, which is visibly full, and then returns. The video provides a decent view of the logo on the back of his shirt, which may resemble a skull and crossbones. The suspect is also seen wearing a mask.

The flames caused about $10,000 in damage.

Police are encouraging anyone who might recognize the suspect's walk, body shape, or clothing, including the hoodie and logo, to come forward.
