FLINT -- It may have been Fenton head coach Mike Gilmour’s first year as the varsity head coach, but he wasn’t a stranger to some of his varsity players.

Senior Carlos Gomez Munoz played under Gilmour, who was a Fenton JV assistant coach last year and coaches multiple travel clubs, at La Forza Soccer Club when he was 9 years old.
