PALATKA, Fla. — Serious accusations against Palatka's city manager Marcia Carty took center stage at Wednesday night commissioners meeting.

An investigation launched after employees came forward with complaints about her conduct. City commissioners met Wednesday to address the allegations and to decide her future.

Nothing was finalized, but commissioners did go over the 9 allegations made against Marcia Carty. During the special called meeting, Marcia Carty was present and she was allowed to give a rebuttal.

The investigation report given to city commissioners on Monday, includes 9 allegations made against Carty.

With employees claiming: she created a toxic work environment, made inappropriate comments on race, appearance and age; and used city employees to assist with personal favors
