MOUNT MORRIS — Starting a new craft show can be a risky proposition. Crowds may not show. Vendors may not be interested. The whole event could be washed out by rain. But the risks paid off for the Mount Morris Kiwanis Club, which hosted the first Genesee Valley Vendors and Craft Event last weekend in Bellamy Park.

The show was a success, organizers and vendors alike told The LCN, drawing 65 vendors and a substantial number of craft shoppers.
