Wild footage has emerged of an alleged carjacking arrest in Melbourne’s CBD.

The footage showing a man wearing a blazer and a hat and yelling at a group of stopped vehicles was taken near the intersection of Sayers and Tarneit Rds in North Melbourne about 8am on Thursday.

One of the drivers filmed the man as he appeared to order one man out of his Honda, before turning his attention to the driver filming and telling them to “get out”.

“Oh my god,” the driver can be heard saying as they frantically try to retrieve their keys and recording device.

The man appears to say: “I’ll buy you a new car ... you’ll get a Ferrari, please go.”
