COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - A man was injured in a shooting Tuesday night at a home outside Walterboro.

Colleton County Fire-Rescue crews reportedly responded to the 500 block of Bee Drive following reports of a shooting around 10:15 p.m.

When they got to the scene, they discovered a man who had been shot in the arm, causing a break to his upper arm.

He was treated at the scene before EMS took him to the Trauma Center at HCA Trident Hospital, formerly Trident Medical Center, in North Charleston.

The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation into this incident.
