A man has been arrested in Portland, Maine, after police allegedly found a missing 13-year-old girl in an apartment there with him this week.

Authorities had been searching for the Pownal teen for the past week after she was reported missing on Oct. 6, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office .

The week-long investigation led police to an apartment on 470 Brighton Avenue in Portland, where deputies found the girl along with 23-year-old Elijah Coleman, officials said.
