CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - West Texas A&M University announced its social work program will celebrate its 50th anniversary with events on Thursday and Friday, including a social hour and symposium.

WT officials said the social hour will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Harrington Academic Hall WTAMU Amarillo Center, located at 720 S. Tyler St. in Amarillo. Alumni will be able to mingle with current students, faculty and community partners while enjoying hors d'oeuvres, cake and Buffalo cookies.
