State pensioners are getting free £150 discounts ON TOP of their Winter Fuel Payment. The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s (DESNZ) has announced the Warm Home Discount Scheme reopens in October.

Letters will land for Department for Work and Pensions, or DWP , state pensioners due the £150 discounts from mid-October. Today is October 16, so the letters could theoretically land any minute.

The Warm Home Discount is a Government scheme that gives eligible households £150 towards their energy costs every year. It's available to millions of households in England, Scotland and Wales.
