A driver was killed and three other people were taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision involving a cement truck, SUV and sedan near Simcoe on Wednesday afternoon.

The collision occurred at about 3 p.m. at the intersection of Blueline Road and Concession 13 Townsend.

The driver of the SUV died at the scene. The drivers of the other vehicles and a passenger in the sedan were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries, said Norfolk County OPP Const. Andrew Gamble in a social media post.
