SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. —
Former South Carolina Gamecock quarterback Connor Shaw is sharing details after he collapsed last month while coaching his son's flag football team .
Shaw went into sudden cardiac arrest at Gracely Park in Simpsonville about 15 minutes after the game started.
Shaw was taken to Greenville Memorial where he spent several days before being released.
On Wednesday, Shaw released a video on Instagram thanking those who helped him and spoke about a new initiative he is set to kick off to help others.

He first thanked an off-duty firefighter, Caleb Carter, and an off-duty officer, Zach Moore, for performing CPR until an automated external defibrillator (AED) arrived.
