CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Charlotte Douglas International Airport confirmed on Tuesday that it is not playing a video of Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem blaming Democrats for the government shutdown.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Oct. 14, the airport said, in part, “North Carolina municipal law as well as CLT Airport’s policy for digital content do not permit the referenced video.”

Officials stated that the Charlotte airport TSA lines do not own any of the monitors at checkpoints, and the screens that are present only display static images.

Noem began rolling out the video, which is reportedly playing at TSA lines nationwide; however, not every airport is playing it.
