A film often hailed as the greatest movie of all time returns to Netflix today. Back to the Future (1985) stars Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, a teenager accidentally sent back to the mid-1950s in a time-travelling DeLorean dreamed up by his friend, the mercurial scientist Emmett "Doc" Brown (played by Christopher Lloyd ).

Marty releases his actions could change everything, and chance encounters could even put his future existence at risk. The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis, who co-wrote it with Bob Gale, and was an immediate hit, becoming the highest-grossing film of the year of its release.
