WARWICK – Scituate native Jasper Bruins Slot, who is a senior on the Rhode Island College golf team, earned First-Team All-Little East Conference honors for the second time in his collegiate career at last week’s two-day Little East Championships, which was hosted by Western Connecticut State University at Redding Country Club in Redding, Conn.

A 2022 graduate of Scituate High who earned First-Team All-State honors with the Spartans’ golf team, Bruins Slot took second place with a two-day, 36-hole score of 162, which was his best finish ever at the LEC Championships and also included an 18-hole round of 78 on the opening day.

He also earned First-Team All-LEC honors as a sophomore and Second-Team All-LEC recognition as a junior.
