SALT LAKE CITY — Fans headed to the Delta Center for the Utah Mammoth’s regular-season home opener have a few hundred surprises in store for them.
Namely, the hundreds of new seats in the lower bowl. Officials told KSL that this change is just the first of many.
The 1,100 new seats equate to a fully unobstructed lower bowl. The change is expected to offer a big boost for the Utah Mammoth players.
“It definitely helps with the whole experience, with the noise. We’re a very steep venue — right on top of the ice — and the players notice it. They feel it,” said Jim Olsen, Smith Entertainment Group executive director.
“It gives us great home advantage,” he said.
