A grand jury on Oct. 7 indicted a 43-year-old man on 22 burglary charges — adding to a slew of earlier charges from different burglaries in Portland.

The new charges against Jeremiah Allen Morgan, of Portland, include first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, first-degree aggravated theft, second-degree theft and criminal mischief.

He pleaded not guilty to all of the charges on Tuesday.

These charges come months after Morgan was indicted on 15 separate charges in a series of burglaries between February and March 2025. He also pleaded not guilty to those charges.

The October indictment stems from a police investigation that analyzed video surveillance footage from multiple Portland businesses that had break-ins, including at the 82nd Avenue Bar & Grill at 5028 Southeast 8
