STEWART COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- A traffic stop in Stewart County earlier this month led to the arrest of a man with a lengthy history of driving offenses.
The Stewart County Sheriff's Office said Deputy Johnny Law was in the Dunaway Ridge area on Oct. 2 after someone reported a suspicious vehicle. Law reportedly noticed a vehicle traveling down the road with a jack attached to the tire.
According to authorities, when Law stopped the vehicle, he discovered the man behind the wheel was not only driving under the influence, but he was also driving on revoked license and without insurance, among other violations.
Officials said, the driver -- identified as 46-year-old Josiah Nixon -- was charged with his seventh DUI within the last 12 years, including his third in 18 months. In addition, he
