WELLS COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR) – A 45-year-old woman from Tioga has died after a head-on collision on Wednesday night.

Highway patrol says the woman was driving on Highway 52 southeast of Harvey when her vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a semi truck.

She passed away on the scene, while the driver of the semi, a 73-year-old man from Minot, was injured and was transported to a hospital.

Police say road conditions were wet, and light mist was falling at the time. They are continuing to investigate the crash.
