ROCKFORD, Ill. — A fall event showcasing young artists at Anderson Japanese Gardens is back this weekend.

The Path of Pumpkins at Anderson Japanese Gardens is back starting on Saturday, Oct. 18 and running through Saturday, Oct. 25. Local middle and high school students are making carved pumpkin displays to show off their creative ability.

The experience is free and included in the price of admission.

The three schools with the most votes will receive cash prizes, and the winners will be announced on Anderson Gardens' social media.

The schools participating in the 2025 Path of Pumpkins are:
