INDIANAPOLIS — If you got a violation notice for speeding through the Interstate 465/Interstate 69 work zone in Marion County , you’re not alone.

The Indiana Department of Transportation tells 13News it has sent an average of more than 1,000 violations a day since it started using speed cameras to crack down on construction zone speeding this spring.

According to INDOT, it has mailed more than 168,000 violation notices in the first 158 days of enforcement. That includes:
