ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A second round of “No Kings” protests will take place on Saturday, with plenty of protest locations throughout metro Atlanta.

The first protests took place on June 18. Organizers claimed more than 5 million participated nationally.

Why is it called No Kings?

The “No Kings” theme was orchestrated by the 50501 Movement , a national movement made up of everyday Americans who stand for democracy and against what they call the authoritarian actions of the Trump administration.
