Low-cost cardiac screenings for students will be provided by the Solon City Schools and athletic department, in partnership with the MCORE Foundation, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 20 at Solon High School at 33600 Inwood Road in Solon.

The program allows families to screen their children for sudden cardiac arrest risk, which affects people of all ages, including children, without warning.
