MINNEAPOLIS — With his background as a minister and longtime Capitol Hill staffer, Rev. Dr. DeWayne Davis isn't new to public life.
However, this November, he's mounting his first campaign for elected office as a candidate for mayor of Minneapolis.
"I know how to work across differences to get things done," Davis said in an interview Thursday at KARE 11's studios. "This is just a different environment, a different set of challenges in front of us, and it just needs a different type of leadership. And I think I possess all of that."
