CHENEY, Kan. (KAKE) — It's the news that users of the Cheney Shooting Range, closed this year until now, have been waiting for.

Five months ago, a former range master at the Cheney Shooting Range raised the alarm about lead contamination from the range, accumulated over at least the last 22 years, possibly making it into the main water source for the City of Wichita.
