FOXBORO – Whether at home, on the road or at Gillette Stadium, the wins just keep coming for Medfield.
The Warriors continued to prove their one of the top girls soccer teams in the state by throttling Tri-Valley League rival Dover-Sherborn, 5-0, at the home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution on Thursday.
It was the 10th straight victory for Medfield – the Warriors have outscored their opponents, 52-6, over that impressive stretch – and extending the streak in a unique venue made its latest win that much more memorable.
“It’s magical, really,” Medfield head coach Melinda Lohan said. “It’s so special that not every team gets to do this. And that we get to do it together as a unit is something that they’ll remember forever and we’ll remember forever.”
