Longtime “SportsCenter” anchor Shae Cornette will be the new host of ESPN’s popular sports debate show “First Take,” the network announced Thursday.

Cornette will make her debut as “First Take” host on Nov. 3, according to a news release . She replaces previous “First Take” host Molly Qerim, who announced last month that she would leave ESPN at the end of this year.

Cornette has served as a “SportsCenter” anchor since joining ESPN in 2020 and, in more recent years, as a fill-in host for Qerim on “First Take.” She will host her final “SportsCenter” show on Oct. 25, according to ESPN.
