CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (WBKO) - Two people are facing multiple charges after a traffic stop in Central City.

On Oct. 14, a Greenville deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling north on 8th St.

During the investigation, the driver 36 year 36-year-old Heather Collier, of Central City, was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances.

A search of the vehicle led to police finding a stolen handgun along with a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, prescription pills, cash, and drug paraphernalia. Heather Collier was placed under arrest and charged with the following:

Careless driving

Rear license not illuminated

Failure to or improper signal

Failure to wear seat belts

Operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license
