REDDING, Calif. - Glen Den Stevenson, the man authorities say shot and killed a man with a crossbow on Labor Day in Redding, was held to answer on all charges during his preliminary hearing in Shasta County Superior Court Thursday.

The Shasta County District Attorney's Office confirmed that Stevenson has been charged with murder and an enhancement for using a deadly weapon. The charges stem from a deadly crossbow shooting that took place on September 1 on Radio Lane in Redding.

Officers from the Redding Police Department arrested Stevenson in September after responding to reports of a man being impaled with an arrow during an argument that had taken place on the 2700 block of Radio Lane.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 46-year-old man who was suffering from a severe chest injury.
