ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A business owner in Midtown Atlanta says the recent street closures and improvement projects are “having a real impact on the local economy.”
There are two improvement projects currently underway in Midtown: a repavement project on Juniper Street between 14th and Ponce and sewer repairs on 10th Street NE and Piedmont Avenue.

K5 Hospitality owner Ayman Kamel said in a Facebook video, “we do not want our community to face the same challenges that have affected parts of West Midtown, where extended construction and limited access made it harder for businesses to succeed.”
