LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An Oklahoma man was arrested Sunday after he was found stalking a student on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s campus.

Just before 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 1, a UNL community service officer found a suspicious male walking around a residence hall on campus.

The officer told police the man — later identified as 34-year-old Alexander Sanchez — was looking at doors inside the residence hall for one hour.

According to court documents, UNLPD responded to the residence hall after Sanchez made comments about finding his girlfriend.

Police met Sanchez in the lobby of the residence hall. According to an affidavit, Sanchez initially refused to identify himself, insisted on leaving and was confrontational with officers.
