MUMFORD, Texas (KBTX) - KBTX Sports would like to congratulate our latest Classroom Braxton Zeig. The Mumford High School Senior has a 4.4 grade point average and ranks first in his class.

Braxton is a member of the National Honor Society. Away from school, Braxton is an usher at St. Mary’s Church in Hearne, and coaches the Little Dribblers in Mumford.

“I try to be a leader that motivates the younger kids,” Zeig said. “I know they’re always watching because I have a little brother and so I know what I do is going to affect them in the long run. So, I want to have a positive effect on the younger kids”
