CONNECTICUT, USA — Prescriptions at 10 former Rite Aid stores in Connecticut have been transferred to nearby CVS locations.

CVS Pharmacy announced Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of Rite Aid assets nationwide , which included the the prescription files of stores in 15 states including Connecticut.

Rite Aid officially closed all of its locations in early October after filing for bankruptcy in May.

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey approved the sale of select Rite Aid assets to CVS. After the court's approval in May, CVS began a transaction process that took less than four months, and the final transactions were completed on Sept. 30.
