Election season is heating up, and as ballots are hitting mailboxes, the pressure is amping up on several local initiatives.

As a Roaring Fork School District Board of Education member and a longtime member of the early childhood profession, I am being asked daily about my opinion on Ballot Issue 7A. And my position is simple: We cannot let this opportunity pass and must vote yes on 7A for the future of our kids, workforce, economies and communities.
