A young boy 'threw repeated punches' at a girl's head in a sickening attack at the Trafford Centre, police have said.
He's believed to be aged between 13 and 15 and police have now issued an urgent appeal for the public's help to track him down.
The assault, said police, was reported at a stand of the bus station at the Trafford Centre.
GMP said the boy is believed to have punched the young girl in the head and face, and kicked her. Officers in Trafford said both the boy and girl were 'part of the same group of up to ten youths'.

No injuries have been reported.
