(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Department of Commerce is promoting statewide tourism growth through a grant funding boost. Twenty-three North Dakota projects have received a total of 15-million-dollars after the NDDC received 106 applications across 45 communities. Governor Kelly Armstrong followed up the announcement by stating that the “grant program will support projects that offer legendary experiences that make our state a unique destination.” Some of the larger grant recipients included the Fargo area, with one-million-dollars allocated toward the Beaver Creek Events and Cultural Center.
